What Is Soft Washing? (And Why Sydney Homes Need It)
Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method that uses biodegradable solutions to remove mould, lichen, algae, and grime from delicate surfaces. Unlike pressure washing — which can crack render, strip paint, and damage weatherboards — soft washing uses under 500 PSI combined with targeted chemistry to clean safely and thoroughly.
In Sydney, rendered homes in the Hills District and Castle Hill are particularly vulnerable to mould and algae from tree coverage and humidity.
