What industrial cleaning covers on a working site
Managing a commercial site or strata block?
We work with strata managers, facilities managers, and business owners across Sydney. Tell us the site and we'll quote a one-off or scheduled program.
A factory is a lot of surfaces in one place, and each one collects a different kind of grime. Dust settles on floors and ledges, exhaust film builds on walls, tyre marks streak the hardstand and the front of house slowly weathers. A full industrial clean works through the lot so the whole site lifts, not just the part visitors see first. Around the Norwest business parks and the industrial estates near Box Hill we quote plenty of these jobs, and the scope usually looks like this.
- Internal concrete floors, walkways and machinery bays
- External hardstand, loading areas and truck aprons
- Walls, cladding and roller doors that collect grime and exhaust film
- Bin areas, wash bays and high traffic entry points
- Signage, awnings and the building front that clients actually see
Most of this is heavy duty pressure cleaning in Sydney work. If your site is more storage than production, our warehouse cleaning in Sydney page covers the slab side in more detail, and the two often get booked together.
Keeping a site audit ready
Commercial & Strata Exterior Cleaning Scope Guide
A scoping checklist for Sydney facilities and strata managers. Covers warehouse floors, facades, graffiti and common areas, plus the questions to ask any contractor.
For a lot of industrial operators the real driver is audits. Safety walkthroughs, quality certifications, insurance inspections and client visits all judge a site partly on how clean and controlled it looks. A grimy floor or a mould streaked wall reads as poor housekeeping, even when the operation is sound. Booking a clean ahead of an audit removes an easy mark against you. A regular schedule keeps the site presentable year round so you are never scrambling the week before an inspector arrives.
Safety and access on a factory clean
Industrial sites have hazards a normal clean does not, so access is planned carefully. We work around live machinery, isolate power near wash zones where needed, and use the right protective gear. Wastewater is managed so runoff goes where it should rather than into a stormwater drain. Most factories prefer us in during a shutdown or on a weekend, and we clean in zones so production keeps running in the rest of the building. It is the same staged approach we use on gutter and roof work, where planning the visit around the site matters as much as the cleaning itself.
Areas we tackle and why
Different surfaces need different treatment. Here is what usually comes off where on a factory clean.
| Area | What we remove |
|---|---|
| Internal floors | Oil, rubber, forklift marks and dust |
| External hardstand | Tyre marks, spills and ingrained dirt |
| Walls and roller doors | Exhaust film, mould, cobwebs and grime |
| Entry and signage | Dirt and weathering that dulls first impressions |
For the floor side specifically, our guide to warehouse floor cleaning in Sydney goes deeper on lifting oil and forklift marks off concrete.
Book an industrial clean
Whether it is one shutdown deep clean or a standing schedule, the first step is a look at the site. Pricing is job by job because area, surface type, stain load and access all change the time on site, so we never quote blind. Send a few photos and your address through our free quote form and we will come back the same day. If you want to plan a recurring schedule around audits and busy periods, get in touch and we will sort a plan. Bigger sites usually bundle the works under our commercial exterior cleaning in Sydney service so inside and out are handled together.
